An Ethiopian coffee ceremony, done properly: incense, spices, fifteen minutes of preparation, and a barista who explains the tradition as it unfolds.
The lattes are what bring people back, and the room makes staying easy. A Woodhouse independent where food and events share the space with coffee, and the coffee holds its own.
House beans, a drinks menu that runs to hojicha and matcha lattes, and Sophie and Tom running it from behind the counter. The kind of neighbourhood café that earns a return visit without making a fuss about it.
