Every flat white here starts at Pink Lane's own roastery, roasted across town and graded to the SCA's 80+ specialty threshold. Single origins are traceable back to the farm they came from.
Roasts its own at the Ouseburn roastery, sells online, and pours a flat white that outstrips most of what Newcastle is serving. The decaf is the other reason to visit.
Independent espresso bar near the RVI where the coffee earns genuine praise, not just the benefit of the doubt. The owner is there, and the regulars notice.
