York's coffee crowd comes here for the coffee, not the food. The flat whites are why, and the precision behind them is exactly what the name promises.
Micklegate's stop for York Emporium's beans, roasted into a blend developed specifically for this café and served nowhere else in the city.
The brunch draws the room and the coffee holds its own once you're there. Come for the Turkish eggs.
