The coffee holds its own at a place where the bar programme gets equal billing. An owner with competition drinks experience applied the same discipline to espresso, and it shows.
AllPress on the machine and almond croissants that have earned their reputation in Headingley. Free workspace upstairs makes it the kind of place you stay longer than planned.
Reliably good coffee and some of Leeds's best bagels, in a Scandinavian room on Otley Road built for slow mornings.
A Headingley all-day local where the cappuccino is better than it has any obligation to be, and the full English has its own loyal following.
Book for brunch, but order the flat white too. Milk drinks, chai and matcha included, are handled with more care than the food-first reputation suggests.
