A hole-in-the-wall Bruntsfield indie running five rotating Black Dog Coffee Co single-origins, each traced to farm level. The room doesn't prepare you for the sourcing detail.
The brew bar runs single origins from the house roastery, rotated regularly enough that there's always something worth asking about. Staff understand extraction, and the room is built around coffee rather than the kitchen.
A one-person police box on Bruntsfield Place that sells only coffee. The regulars have ranked it the best on the street, which is something for a kiosk.
