Ask for a pour-over and say what you like. The staff can actually help you choose, which isn't something every cafe in Stockbridge can say.
Artisan Roast roasts in Edinburgh. The Stockbridge shop runs two rotating batch brews daily with free refills, and the baristas know what they're talking about.
The Glenogle Swim Centre is the obvious reason to be here. Sam runs the machine himself, and the coffee is better than the setting would suggest.
Ask about the beans and you'll get origins and a taste recommendation, not a blank look. The flat white is what keeps the regulars on Deanhaugh Street.
The baking pulls you in. The decaf keeps the coffee from being an afterthought.
